Can I set a weight goal?

With your Fitbit account you can track your progress towards a body fat goal and/or a goal for losing, gaining, or maintaining weight.  If you have a Fitbit food plan, you can also synchronize the goals with your plan. For more information on food plans, see How do I track my food with Fitbit?

How do I set a weight or body fat percentage goal?

Choose a section for instructions.

  • Fitbit app
    1. From the Fitbit app dashboard, tap or click the Account icon (User-added image).
    2. Under Goals, find Nutrition & Body.
    3. Select a goal type (lose, gain, or maintain). You'll be prompted to enter your goal weight and, optionally, a body fat percentage goal.

    1. On the fitbit.com dashboard, hover your mouse over the bottom of the weight tile.
    2. Click the gear icon.
    3. In the weight tile, click Goal Weight.
    4. Click Add weight goal
    5. Select a goal type (lose, gain, or maintain). You'll be prompted to enter your goal weight and, optionally, a body fat percentage goal.
    6. Click Save.

How do I change or delete my goal?

    1. From the Fitbit app dashboard, tap or click the Account icon (User-added image).
    2. Under Goals, find Nutrition & Body.
    3. Change your goal as desired. To delete the goal, tap the three dots icon and tap Remove Weight Goal.
  • Fitbit.com dashboard
    1. On the fitbit.com dashboard, hover your mouse over the bottom of the weight tile.
    2. Click the gear icon.
    3. Click Goal Weight or Body Fat Goal.
    4. Change your goal as desired. To delete the goal, click Delete goal and then click Done.
