How do I manually log exercises in the Fitbit app?
If you forgot to wear your Fitbit device or you want to record an activity that isn't detected automatically, manually log the exercise in the Fitbit app.
Fitbit app
  1. From the Today tab , tap the + icon in the lower right  Activity.
  2. Tap a recent activity, or search for an exercise type.
  3. Enter the activity details, and tap Add or Save.

  3. Enter the activity details, and click Log.
How do I edit or delete an exercise or activity in the Fitbit app?
Edit or delete activities in your exercise history in the Fitbit app. Depending on the exercise, you can choose to edit the type of exercise, start and end times, distance covered, and calories burned. Note that you can only edit activities in the Fitbit app.
Fitbit app
  1. From the Today tab , tap the Exercise days tile.
  2. Tap the exercise you want to edit or delete.
    • To delete the exercise, tap the trash icon or 3 dots icon  Delete Exercise.
    • To edit the exercise, tap the pencil icon.

  2. Click Activities.
  3. Hover your cursor over the activity you want to delete, and click the trash icon.
How do I delete Active Zone Minutes in the Fitbit app?
  1. From the Today tab , tap the Energy burned tile.
  2. Tap the 3 dots icon in the top right  Manage data  Delete Data  Active Zone Minutes.
  3. Choose the time period you want to delete Active Zone Minutes from, and confirm your changes.
How do I delete steps and floors in the Fitbit app?
Fitbit app
  1. From the Today tab , tap the Steps tile.
  2. Tap the 3 dots icon in the top right  Manage data  Delete Data.
  3. Tap Floors or Steps. Choose the time period you want to delete the data from and confirm your changes.

  1. From the fitbit.com dashboard, click the Log tab  Activities.
  2. Under Log Activities, choose Driving as the exercise type. Make sure the exercise details overlap with the time period your device logged the unwanted steps or floors.
  3. Click Log. Your steps, floors, and calories burned will decrease for the time period you specified.
How do I edit or delete sleep logs in the Fitbit app?

To edit a sleep log:

  1. From the Today tab , tap the Sleep duration tile.

  2. Tap the sleep log you want to edit.

  3. Tap the pencil icon (Android) or the 3 dots icon  Edit Log (iPhones).
  4. Adjust the time you went to sleep or the time you woke up, and save.

Note that for devices that receive sleep stages, if you extend your time asleep, you may notice gaps at the beginning or end of your sleep stages.

To delete a sleep log:

  1. From the Today tab , tap the Sleep duration tile.

  2. Tap the sleep log you want to edit.

  3. Tap the 3 dots icon  Delete Sleep Log or Delete Log.
How do I delete snore and noise detection data?
If you sign in with your Google Account
  1. From the Today tab  in the Fitbit app, tap your profile picture.
  2. Tap Fitbit settings  Account Settings  Delete Data  Snore & Noise detect.
  3. Swipe up to see your data, then tap a data type.
  4. Tap Delete to delete all data, or tap a range to delete some data.
  5. Confirm that you want to delete the data.
If you sign in with your Fitbit login
  1. From the Today tab  in the Fitbit app, tap the settings icon .
  2. Tap Account Settings  Delete Data  Snore & Noise detect.
  3. Swipe up to see your data, then tap a data type.
  4. Tap Delete to delete all data, or tap a range to delete some data.
  5. Confirm that you want to delete the data.

  2. In the Snore & Noise Detect section, select the date range of the data you want to delete  Delete.
How do I delete irregular rhythm notifications?

How do I delete body temperatures?
Fitbit app
  1. From the Today tab in the Fitbit app, tap the Body temperature tile . If you don't see the Body temperature tile, add it by selecting the pencil icon on the upper right of the Today tab and turning on the switch next to Body temperature and then Save. A graph of your body temperatures appears with a list of your temperature history below. 
  2. Tap an individual temperature value.
  3. Tap the deletion icon in the upper right and then Yes when asked to confirm if you want to delete this value. The value will then be removed from the list of temperatures.
You can only delete values when you are connected to the internet.

  1. Visit the Manage your Fitbit Data page in your web browser.
  2. In the Temperature section, select the date range of the data you want to delete and then Delete. This deletes skin temperature data and any manually logged temperature values that we store during the specified period of time. Follow the instructions above for the Fitbit app instead to delete temperatures taken from a Pixel phone thermometer that you saved to Fitbit.
How do I track my weight in the Fitbit app?
Note: If you weigh-in with a Fitbit scale, the Fitbit app records your weight. For Fitbit Aria Air, have the Fitbit app open on your nearby phone when you step on the scale, and save your weight log when prompted. For more information on setting up your scale, see How do I set up my Fitbit device?

To manually log weight:

Fitbit app
  1. From the Today tab , tap the Weight tile.
  2. Tap the + icon at the top.
  3. Enter your weight and tap Save.

  2. Scroll to find the Log Weight section, and enter your weight.
  3. Click Log Weight.
Versa, Versa Lite Edition, and Versa 2
  1. Swipe up from the clock face on your watch to access Fitbit Today.
  2. Find the weight tile, and tap the + icon. If you don't see the weight tile, tap Settings  Weight to add the tile to Fitbit Today.
  3. Tap the check mark icon to log your weight.
Sense and Versa 3
  1. Swipe up from the clock face on your watch to access your widgets.
  2. Find the weight widget, and tap it. If you don't see the weight widget, tap Manage  Fitbit Logging  Weight to add the widget.
  3. Tap Log.
  4. Use the - and + icons to adjust your weight, and then tap Save.

 

To change or delete weight logs:

iPhones
  1. From the Today tab , tap the Weight tile.
  2. To delete a weight log, swipe left on it, then tap Delete. To adjust a weight log, tap the log you want to edit and make your changes.
Android phones
  1. From the Today tab , tap the Weight tile.
  2. To delete a weight log, tap it, then tap the 3 dots in the top right Delete Log. To adjust a weight log, tap the log you want to edit and make your changes

  2. Find the weight log you want to edit. Click the trash icon to delete it, or click the pencil icon to change it.
  3. Click Confirm or Save.

 

To reassign a weight log:

Fitbit app
  1. From the Today tab , tap the devices icon  your scale.
  2. Tap Recent Weigh-Ins.
  3. Tap the weigh-in you want to reassign.
  4. Reassign the weigh-in to the correct person.
How do I track my water intake in the Fitbit app?
Track your water intake in the Fitbit app. On Fitbit Versa series, log your water intake on your wrist.
 
To log water intake:
Fitbit app
  1. From the Today tab , tap the Water tile.
  2. Tap the + icon.
  3. Enter the amount of water you drank, then tap Save.

  2. Scroll to find the water section at the bottom of the page, and enter the amount of water you drank.
  3. Click Log it.
​​​​Versa, Versa Lite Edition, and Versa 2
  1. Swipe up from the clock face to see Fitbit Today.
  2. Locate the water tile. You may have to swipe up to find it. If you don’t see the water tile, tap Settings at the bottom of Fitbit Today, and turn on the water tile.
  3. Tap the + icon on the water tile, and enter the amount of water you drank.
  4. Tap the check mark.

  1. Swipe up from the clock face on your watch to access your widgets.
  2. Find the water widget, and tap it. If you don't see the water widget, tap Manage  Fitbit Logging Water to add the widget.
  3. Tap Log.
  4. Use the - and + icons to adjust the amount of water you drank, and then tap Save.

 

To edit or delete water logs:

  1. From the Today tab , tap the Water tile.
  2. Tap the day with the water log you want to delete.
  3. Under Log History, tap the water log you want to delete.
  4. To edit the water log, make your changes and tap the arrow in the top left. To delete the water log, tap the 3 dots in the top right  Delete (on Android phones tap the trash icon and confirm).

  1. From the fitbit.com dashboard, click the Log tab  Food.
  2. Scroll to find the water section at the bottom of the page.
  3. In the Logged section, hover your cursor over the water log you want to delete and click the x icon.
