If you are on a PC, please unplug your base station then uninstall and reinstall the software by going to www.fitbit.com/start. Once the software has been installed, then plug in the base station.

If you’ve just downloaded the software it should take you straight into account setup. If you haven’t, right click on the Fitbit icon and then select 'Account Setup'. This icon can be found in the lower right-hand corner of your computer screen, in the system tray. The setup process will then begin and you'll see a screen that asks you to register. At this point you just want to log in with your existing account, then proceed with the setup process. You’ll be asked to plug in your base station, place your Tracker on the base station, and wait for the battery icon to disappear. When it does, you’ll click "Ready" and press and release the Tracker’s button. A series of numbers should appear for you to enter into the setup screen, and the process will be complete.
