The Aria can be set up for eight different accounts on the Fitbit website, so it’s a perfect scale for one, or an entire family. When stepping on a scale with multiple users assigned to it, the Aria will determine who it is by comparing your weight with the weights already recorded. So if your last weigh-in was 155 lbs and your current weight is 153 lbs, it’s close enough that it’ll know it’s you rather than the 170 lb person also using the scale.
When more than one person is using the scale, their data remains private. Each time someone steps on the scale, the readings will be sent directly to their account. If it’s an anonymous user or the Aria can’t determine who stepped on it, the reading will show to all accounts connected with the scale and can be assigned to an account by the individual user.
