How do I delete steps and floors?

It is not possible to delete steps and floors, but you can achieve the same result by negating them:

  1. Log into your fitbit.com dashboard.
  2. At the top of the screen click Log > Activity.
  3. Find the data you want to negate by selecting a date range.
  4. In the activity menu, type in "Driving" and enter the duration and start time.
  5. Click Log Activity. Your steps, floors, and calories burned will decrease for the time period you specified.

How do I delete profile data from my tracker?

Fitbit uses your height, weight, gender, and age as factors when calculating your estimates for stride length, calorie burn, active minutes, and more.

To delete your profile measurements from your tracker, set up the tracker as if it were new using a different Fitbit account. When the tracker "recognizes" that it has been given to someone else, its connection to the original dashboard ceases and all of the tracker's stored data is permanently deleted. See How do I set up my tracker? for instructions on creating a new account.

How do I delete my greeting?

If you have a tracker with a greeting that you'd like to delete:
  1. Log into your fitbit.com dashboard.
  2. Click the gear icon in the top right corner of the page.
  3. Click on your tracker name. The Settings page opens.
  4. Find the Greeting field and delete its text. The greeting will disappear from your tracker the next time you sync.

How do I delete my weight logs?
