How do I change the units of measurement on my Fitbit device?

To personalize your Fitbit data, choose your preferred units of measurement. 

Adjust the type of units used for your height, weight, water consumption, and swims:

  • Fitbit app
    1. Tap the Today tab User-added image, and tap your profile picture.
    2. Tap Advanced Settings Units.
    3. Make your changes.
    For Aria 2, you can also change the units shown on the scale:
    1. Tap the Today tab User-added image your profile picture > your scale icon.
    2. Tap Weight Units.
    3. Choose the units you want the scale to show your weight in. The next time you sync your scale, you’ll see your weight in the units you select. You may have to weigh yourself twice before you see the units update.

    1. From the fitbit.com dashboard, click the gear icon User-added image > Settings > Personal Info.
    2. Under Advanced Settings, find Units and choose the type of units you want to use for your height, weight, water consumption, and swims.
    3. Click Submit.
    For Aria 2, you can also change the units shown on the scale.
    1. From the fitbit.com dashboard, click the gear icon User-added image > Aria 2.
    2. Click the drop-down button next to Scale Units.
    3. Choose the units you want the scale to show your weight in. The next time you sync your scale, you’ll see your weight in the units you selected. You may have to weigh yourself twice before you see the units update.
