How do I change the units of measurement in my Fitbit account?

Adjust the type of units used for your height, weight, water consumption, temperature, and swims.

Note that for Fitbit Aria Air you can tap the button on the back of the scale to switch between pounds, stones, or kilograms.

  1. Tap the Today tab then your profile picture.
  2. Tap App Settings then Units.
  3. Make your changes.

For Aria 2, you can also change the units shown on the scale:

  1. Tap the Today tab then your profile picture then your scale icon.
  2. Tap Weight Units.
  3. Choose the units you want the scale to show your weight in. The next time you sync your scale, you’ll see your weight in the units you select. You may have to weigh yourself twice before you see the units update.
  1. From the fitbit.com dashboard, click the gear icon then Settings then Personal Info.
  2. Under Advanced Settings, find Units and choose the type of units you want to use.
  3. Click Submit.

For Aria 2, you can also change the units shown on the scale.

  1. From the fitbit.com dashboard, click the gear icon then your scale icon.
  2. Click the button next to Scale Units.
  3. Choose the units you want the scale to show your weight in. The next time you sync your scale, you’ll see your weight in the units you selected. You may have to weigh yourself twice before you see the units update.
