Designer accessories are available for select Fitbit devices in select regions.

New accessories are always under development. For more information and to sign up for the latest news about our designer collections, see the Designer Collections page.

Before using an accessory with your Fitbit device, please note the following:

  • Heart rate tracking may not work with certain accessory bands, especially if they're loose fitting. For optimal results, we recommend wearing a Fitbit-branded classic or sport band during exercise. For more information about tracking your heart rate with your Fitbit device, see What should I know about my heart rate data?
  • To track your sleep, wear your Fitbit device in the original wristband.

How do I insert my Fitbit device into the Axis band?

If you have any difficulty removing your Fitbit device from its original top and bottom bands, see How do I change my wristband?

To insert your tracker into the Axis band:

  1. Remove the ring from the band. The ring is attached to the top of the band by two prongs on either side. If you have trouble, use your fingernail to separate the ring from the band and then pull up to remove it.
  2. Place your tracker in the band. When aligned correctly, the charging contacts on the back of the tracker should be on the bottom left.
  3. Push down on your tracker until it snaps into place.
  4. Put the ring back onto the band:
    •  Line up the two prongs on the ring with the grooves on the band.
    • Push down on the ring until it's secure.
  5. If you want to change the orientation of the clock face to display horizontally, see About Fitbit Alta.

To remove your tracker, turn the band over and press until it's loose. This motion will also push the ring out of the band.

How do I wake up my Fitbit device when I'm wearing the Axis band?

Double tap the display to turn it on. Note that the Quick View feature isn't available with the Axis, meaning Alta won't wake automatically when you turn your wrist.

How do I charge my Fitbit device when I'm wearing the Axis band?

Leave your Fitbit device in the Axis band while you charge. For instructions, see How do I charge my Fitbit device?
