What is my exercise goal?

The American Heart Association recommends at least 30 minutes of moderate-intensity aerobic activity at least 5 days per week. Your Fitbit exercise goal represents the number of days per week you want to exercise. By default, your goal is 5 days per week. Any exercise captured in your exercise history counts towards your goal.

How do I track my exercise with my Fitbit device?

For more information, see How do I track exercise and activity with my Fitbit device?

How do I change my exercise goal?

For instructions, see How do I track my health and fitness goals with the Fitbit app? Note the following:

  • You can change your goal to a different number of days, but you must have a minimum goal of one day.
  • You can change your goal for current and future weeks, but you can’t adjust it for past weeks.
  • You can only modify exercise goals in the Fitbit app.

How do I see my goal progress?

In the Fitbit app, tap the Today tab User-added image , then tap the exercise tile User-added image.  At the top, check your goal progress for the current week, or swipe to view exercise trends. Tap an exercise to see more details about it.
