Alarms on your Fitbit device vibrate to gently awake or alert you at a set time. All Fitbit devices except Fitbit Zip offer alarms.

How do I set an alarm on my Fitbit device?

For Fitbit Blaze, Fitbit Ionic, and Fitbit Versa, set alarms on your device. For instructions, see On-Device.

For all other Fitbit devices, set alarms in the Fitbit app. For instructions, see Fitbit App
  • On-Device
    1. On your device, open Alarms. Your next scheduled alarm and the option to set a new alarm appear.
    2. Tap + New Alarm. Swipe up to see this option if you already created multiple alarms.
    3. Tap 12:00, and swipe to set the alarm time. Be sure to set am or pm.
    4. Press the back button on your device, and then tap to choose the days you want to be alerted.
    5. Press the back button to see your alarms. To turn off an alarm, tap it and then tap Off. To delete an alarm, see the instructions below.
  • Fitbit App
    • Fitbit app for iOS and Android

      From the Fitbit app dashboard, tap the + icon > Set Alarm > Set a New Alarm.

      Select the alarm time and frequency, and save. 
    • Fitbit app for Windows 10

      From the Fitbit app dashboard, tap or click the + icon >  Set Alarm > + icon.

      Select the alarm time and frequency, and don't forget to save. The app should sync with your device immediately.
    • Fitbit.com dashboard
      1. Log into your fitbit.com dashboard.
      2. Click the gear icon in the top right > your device image. 
      3. Under Silent Alarms, click Add Alarm.  
      4. Select the alarm time and frequency. Be sure to enter the alarm time in the format HH:MM.
      5. Click Save. If the entry box turns red, you may have entered your alarm time in an incorrect format. Be sure you include a colon between hours and minutes.
      6. Click the Fitbit Connect icon User-added image and select Sync Now.

How do I dismiss an alarm on my Fitbit device?

Your device vibrates and flashes when a silent alarm goes off. This notification repeats several times or until dismissed. If you don't dismiss an alarm, it repeats in 9 minutes.
The alarm on most Fitbit devices turns off when you walk 50 steps.
You can also press the button on your device to dismiss an alarm. For Fitbit Ace, Fitbit Alta, Fitbit Alta HR, and Fitbit Flex 2, double-tap the tracker to dismiss an alarm.

How do I delete or turn off alarms on my Fitbit device?

For most Fitbit devices, turn off alarms on your device's screen. For instructions, see On-Device.

For Fitbit Ace, Fitbit Alta series, Fitbit Flex 2, and Fitbit One, turn off or delete alarms in the Fitbit app. For instructions, see Fitbit App
  • On-Device

    To turn off an alarm, open Alarms > tap the alarm > turn the alarm off.

    To delete an alarm on Fitbit Blaze, Fitbit Ionic, and Fitbit Versa, open Alarms > tap the alarm > Remove

    Note that if you created multiple alarms, you may need to scroll down to see the Remove option.

  • Fitbit app

    From the Fitbit app dashboard: 

    1. Tap the + icon. 
    2.  Tap Set Alarm. 
    3.  Choose the alarm and delete it, and then sync your device.
  • Fitbit.com dashboard
    1. Log into your fitbit.com dashboard.
    2. Click the gear icon User-added image in the top right > your device image. 
    3. Under Silent Alarms, find the alarm you want to delete. 
    4. Click the pencil icon next to the alarm.
    5. Click Delete Alarm.
    6. Click the Fitbit Connect icon User-added image and select Sync Now.
