iPhones & iPads

If you experience an app crash or issues with notifications or connected GPS, update the Fitbit app.

This section lists the major versions of the Fitbit app for iPhones and iPads that were released to customers during the last several months. We recommend always keeping your app up to date.

Android phones

If you experience issues with notifications, remove the Fitbit app from your phone and reinstall it from the Google Play Store.

Windows 10 devices

We offer two different apps for Windows, the Fitbit app for Windows 10 and the Fitbit app for Windows 8.1 If you're using a Windows 8.1 device, you should use version 2.4 of the Fitbit app for Windows 8.1. 

This section lists the major versions of the Fitbit app for Windows 10 that were released to customers during the last several months, as well as information on the final version of the Fitbit app for Windows 8.1. We recommend always keeping your app up to date.

Version 2.41

  • You can now set up Fitbit Versa Lite Edition
  • We fixed some bugs and made stability improvements.

Version 2.4 (Windows 8.1)

Released: December 1, 2015
  • We fixed some bugs and made stability improvements.
  • This is the last major release for the Windows 8.1 app. 
Beginning on April 28, 2016 we will no longer provide support for the Fitbit app for Windows computers and tablets running Windows 8 or Windows 8.1. We will continue to support the Windows 8.1 mobile app with security and support updates.
