How do I listen to Pandora stations on my Fitbit watch?
The Pandora app was removed on March 31, 2023. You're no longer able to download Pandora stations to your watch or play stations that you've already downloaded. For questions about your subscription, contact Pandora support.

The Pandora app is available to Sense, Versa, Versa 2, and Versa 3 customers in the United States who have a paid subscription to Pandora. For more information about Pandora subscriptions, see help.pandora.com.
If you need to create a new Pandora account or upgrade your existing subscription, you can do so before you download Pandora stations to your watch.

Choose to automatically sync up to 3 of your most-played Pandora stations, or choose up to 3 popular Workout stations to download to your watch. If you have Thumbprint Radio on your Pandora account, it also downloads to your watch regardless of which option you choose. Stations download to your watch automatically when it’s plugged into the charger and in range of your Wi-Fi network.
For more information about how to connect your watch to Wi-Fi, see How do I connect my Fitbit watch to Wi-Fi?

Start here the first time you download stations to your watch. If you previously downloaded stations, skip to How do I manage the Pandora stations on my Fitbit watch? for details about how to update your stations. Note that it may take at least 15 minutes to download each station.
- If you haven’t already done so, make sure your watch can connect to your Wi-Fi network. For more information, see How do I connect my Fitbit watch to Wi-Fi?
- Go back to the dashboard and tap Media
Pandora.
- Follow the on-screen instructions to log into your Pandora account. If you don’t have a paid Pandora subscription, upgrade your existing account or create a new account and then return to the Fitbit app to complete the setup.
- In the Fitbit app, choose to auto-sync your 3 most-played Pandora stations or manually select up to 3 Workout stations. If you have Thumbprint Radio on your Pandora account, it also downloads to your watch regardless of which option you choose.
- Plug your watch into the charger. Stations download automatically when the watch is charging and in range of your Wi-Fi network, or tap Force Sync Now in the Pandora section of the Fitbit app to start a download without your charger. Depending on the amount of music being downloaded, this process can take at least 15 minutes per station. Check the progress of the download on the watch’s screen or in the Fitbit app

To listen to your stations:

on your watch and tap a station to play. You might need to scroll down to see all of your stations.
- When music is playing, use the music controls to play or pause the track, skip to the next track or previous track, or adjust the volume. For more information, see How do I control music with my Fitbit device?
- To listen to a different station, press the left button and tap a station. Note that you may need to reopen the Pandora app
to choose a different station.

Choose to manually update the Workout stations on your watch or to auto-sync up to 3 of your most-played Pandora stations. If you have Thumbprint Radio on your Pandora account, it also downloads to your watch regardless of which option you choose.
Download your most-played stations
If you use the auto-sync option, the stations on your watch update automatically based on your most-played stations on Pandora. Note that you can’t choose which stations are synced to your watch.
Stations update automatically when the watch is charging and in range of your Wi-Fi network, so you don’t need to manually add or delete your most-played stations.
Manually add or delete Workout stations
- In the Fitbit app, tap the Today tab
your profile picture
your device image.
- Tap Media
Pandora.
- Under Selected Stations, find the option to delete a station or add a station from the list.
- Plug your watch into the charger. Stations download automatically when the watch is charging and in range of your Wi-Fi network, or tap Force Sync Now in the Fitbit app to add the stations to your watch.

Currently, you can’t thumbs up or thumbs down songs on your watch.

Plug your watch into the charger. Stations download automatically when the watch is charging and in range of your Wi-Fi network, or tap Force Sync Now in the Fitbit app to add the stations to your watch.
To change the Wi-Fi network your watch is connected to or to make sure your network type is compatible, see How do I connect my Fitbit watch to Wi-Fi?
If your stations don’t appear to be downloading, review the troubleshooting steps in Why won't my Fitbit watch connect to Wi-Fi? and Why won't my Fitbit device sync? Then try again to download your stations.

To download music without your charger:
- In the Fitbit app, tap the Today tab
your profile picture
your device image
Media
Pandora.
- Tap the menu icon
Force Sync Now.
Note that downloading music can be battery-intensive and Wi-Fi won't work on your watch when the battery is 25% or less.

You can leave your phone at home. After you download stations and connect a Bluetooth audio device to your watch, you can listen to your music anywhere.

Thumbprint Radio is downloaded to your watch automatically and can’t be removed without unlinking your Pandora account from your Fitbit watch, which will delete all Pandora stations from your watch.

If you no longer see your stations on your watch, it may be because your Pandora subscription expired, you exceeded your limit of offline devices, or due to another problem with your Pandora account. For more information about your account, see help.pandora.com.
Make sure your watch is charged and in range of your Wi-Fi network to verify your account status at least once every 30 days.

Contact Pandora for more information about your eligibility.

The Pandora app is only available for customers in the United States. You can listen to the stations already downloaded to your watch while abroad for 30 days, but you can’t download new stations.
