How do I purchase, manage, or cancel my Fitbit Coach Premium subscription?

You must have a Fitbit Premium or Fitbit Coach Premium subscription to unlock more programs, unlimited workouts, and additional features.

If you already have a Fitbit Coach Premium subscription, and Fitbit Premium is available in your region, you have access to all Fitbit Premium features. For more information, see What should I know about Fitbit Premium?

If you have a Fitbit Coach Premium subscription and Fitbit Premium isn't yet available in your region, you'll automatically get access to Fitbit Premium features as soon as they're available, at no additional cost.

What’s included with a Fitbit Coach Premium subscription?

When you purchase a Coach Premium subscription, you have access to the following features and programs:

  • Unlimited personalized workouts
  • A full library of video and audio workouts
  • HD-quality videos (available through your settings)
  • The ability to save your favorite workouts
  • Additional recommended workouts in the Coach app for Fitbit Ionic, Fitbit Versa, and Fitbit Versa 2

How do I purchase a Fitbit Coach Premium subscription?

Fitbit Coach is included in your Fitbit Premium subscription, where available. For more information, see What should I know about Fitbit Premium? 

If Fitbit Premium isn't currently available in your region, you can download the Fitbit Coach app from the Apple App Store, Google Play Store, or Microsoft Store, and try the free workouts or purchase a subscription. You can also access Fitbit Coach workouts at coach.fitbit.com. With your Fitbit Coach Premium subscription, you'll automatically get access to Fitbit Premium features as soon as they're available.
  • iPhones and iPads
    1. In the Fitbit Coach app, tap any locked workout or program.
    2. Tap Go Premium to unlock or Go Premium to select.
    3. Choose the monthly or yearly subscription and follow the on-screen instructions.
  • Android phone
    1. In the Fitbit Coach app, tap Profile > gear icon User-added image > Manage Premium Subscription.
    2. Choose the monthly or yearly subscription and follow the on-screen instructions.
  • Windows 10 devices or Xbox
    1. In the Fitbit Coach app, tap Settings User-added image > Subscriptions.
    2. Choose the monthly or yearly subscription and follow the on-screen instructions.
  • Fitbit Coach Website
    1. Log in to your account at coach.fitbit.com.
    2. Click your name in the navigation bar at the top of the screen.
    3. Click Settings.
    4. Scroll down to Subscriptions and Payments.
    5. Click Go Premium and follow the on-screen instructions to purchase a subscription.

How do I see when my Coach Premium subscription renews?

Check how much time is remaining in your Fitbit Coach Premium subscription on the Fitbit Coach website:
  1. Log in to your account at coach.fitbit.com.
  2. Click your name at the top of the screen.
  3. Click Settings.
  4. Scroll down to Subscriptions and Payments to see the subscription details.

How do I edit or cancel my Coach Premium subscription?

Edit or cancel your Fitbit Coach Premium subscription on the Fitbit Coach website:
  1. Log in to your account at coach.fitbit.com.
  2. ​Click your name at the top of the screen.
  3. Click Settings.
  4. Scroll down to Subscriptions and Payments.

If the box shows your payment details, you purchased your subscription directly from the website. If you see an Apple App Store, Google Play, Microsoft Store, or Amazon logo, click the logo to go to the subscription area for that account. For more information about managing your subscription:

  • Fitbit Coach Website
    After following the instructions above, click Edit to change your subscription plan or payment details. If the top of the section is orange, your subscription is already canceled, but you can continue to access the full content library through the end of the payment period. You can also switch between a monthly and yearly subscription. To change your payment method, contact Customer Support.
  • iPhones and iPads
    Visit Apple's website to manage or cancel your subscription.
  • Android phone
    Visit Google's website to manage or cancel your subscription.
  • Windows devices or Xbox
    If you upgraded to Premium while using the Fitbit Coach app on your Windows 10 device or Xbox, you purchased the subscription from the Microsoft Store. Visit Microsoft’s subscription page to manage or cancel your subscription.
  • Amazon
    Follow Amazon's instructions.

What should I do if my Coach Premium subscription didn’t activate?

If you purchased a Coach Premium subscription and it doesn’t activate, check that you’re logged into the same account you used to purchase your subscription. To prevent being charged twice, don't repurchase your Premium subscription.

If 8 hours passed since you purchased a subscription, contact Customer Support. You’ll need to provide the email address you used to register for Fitbit Coach.
