What is Versa made of?

The housing and buckle on Versa are made of anodized aluminum. While anodized aluminum can contain traces of nickel, which can cause an allergic reaction in someone with nickel sensitivity, the amount of nickel in all Fitbit products meets the European Union's stringent Nickel Directive.

The Fitbit Versa classic band is made of a flexible, durable material similarly used in many sports watches. Accessory wristbands are available in metal mesh, metal links, premium Horween leather, and more. For information on caring for your leather band, see our Wear and Care page.

Leather, polyester, and metal bands are not recommended for high-intensity exercise. For more care tips and cleaning instructions, see https://www.fitbit.com/productcare.
