What should I know about Fitbit Premium?
Take care of yourself and your health with Fitbit Premium.

Fitbit Premium is your personalized resource in the Fitbit app that helps you stay active, sleep well, manage stress, and more.

Visit the Premium page in your web browser or get started on the Premium tab in the Fitbit app:
- If Fitbit Premium is available in your region, you'll see a Premium tab in the Fitbit app. Tap the Premium tab.
- Read the overview, and tap the button to get started.
- Choose a 1-year or monthly subscription to start after your free trial, and follow the instructions to subscribe.
Note: If the Fitbit device you purchased indicates that it includes a free trial to Fitbit Premium, but you are currently a Fitbit Premium member, then you must cancel your Premium subscription in order to be able to activate the free trial. About 1-3 days after your canceled subscription expires, you’ll see an offer in the Fitbit app to begin the trial. - Tap the Discover tab
> Guided Programs.
- Choose the guided program you want.
- Read the overview, and tap Get Started to enroll in the program.
- Follow the instructions to enter your information and set goals.
- Read the summary of your program plan.
- Tap Start to read helpful tips and see your progress for the day.

- Tap the Today tab
> your program tile. Your progress for today appears.
- Tap a day of the week at the top to see your progress for previous days of the program, or to see a preview of upcoming daily goals.

- Tap the Today tab
> Edit.
- Tap the X icon on the program you want to quit > Yes or OK > Done.
Note the following:
- Fitbit Premium programs automatically end if you're inactive for 10 days.

Fitbit Premium insights use your health and fitness data to provide customized tips and observations to help you reach your goals. The insights you receive with your Fitbit Premium subscription are more personalized than standard insights in the Fitbit app.
Note that you may not receive a new insight every day.

Choose from a variety of guided workouts for all fitness levels in the Fitbit app.
- From the Fitbit app, tap the Discover tab
> Workouts.
- Tap an exercise to read the description.
- Tap Watch Video to start. When you’re done you’ll see an option to log the workout in the Fitbit app.
With your Fitbit Premium subscription you have access to content from popular fitness providers, including Fitbit Coach.

Work together or compete with friends and family in customizable Fitbit challenges:
- From the Fitbit app, tap the Discover tab
> Challenges & Adventures.
- Under Premium Challenges at the top, choose a challenge.
- Read the description, then tap Get Started.
- Follow the prompts to customize your challenge and invite participants.
- Tap Let’s Go to start the challenge.
To quit a challenge:
- Tap the Today tab
> Edit.
- Tap the X icon on the challenge you want to quit > Yes or OK > Done.
Note that Fitbit Premium users can invite friends without Fitbit Premium to compete in a Custom Challenge. Only Fitbit Premium users can create a Custom Challenge.

Choose the instructions below based on how you purchased your Fitbit Premium subscription:

Cancel your subscription through your phone’s app store.
To cancel your subscription in the Fitbit app:
- In the Fitbit app, tap the Today tab
> your profile picture.
- Scroll down and tap Account Settings > Manage Subscriptions. Your active subscriptions open in your phone’s app store.
- Tap your Fitbit Premium subscription > Cancel Subscription. Note that you won't see this option if you already canceled your subscription. Your subscription expires at the end of your current monthly or yearly subscription term.
Note: If you purchased your subscription in the Google Play Store using PayPal, but you don’t see your subscription listed, cancel your subscription from your PayPal account. For more information, visit the PayPal help site.
If you purchased a Fitbit Premium subscription in your phone’s app store, but you don’t see your subscription in the Fitbit app, restore your purchase.
To restore your subscription purchase:
- In the Fitbit app, tap the Today tab
> your profile picture.
- Scroll down and tap Restore Purchases > OK.

Make sure the Fitbit app is up-to-date to start your subscription.

Your Fitbit Premium Wellness Report details your activity, sleep, heart rate, and weight data up to the last 12 months. Export your Wellness Report from the Fitbit app to see your data or share it with a healthcare professional.
- From the Fitbit app, tap the Discover tab
> Health & Fitness Stats > Wellness Report.
- Read the description, then tap Preview Report > Request My Report. When your report is ready, you’ll see a notification in the Fitbit app. Your report may take a few minutes to appear in your inbox.
- From the Today tab
, tap the inbox icon

- Tap the Personal Health Report notification, which stays in your inbox for up to 30 days.
- Tap View Report to open the report on your phone, or tap Share to send the report to yourself or a healthcare professional.
Note the following:
- You must have at least 30 days of data to generate a Wellness Report.
- Certain data requires a heart-rate enabled device to track.
- Only data you track or log appears in the Wellness Report. For example, you must log your weight in the Fitbit app to see weight data in your report.
- The Wellness Report feature of Fitbit Premium is available in English only in certain regions, with more regions coming soon.
