Join the Live Healthy SG program to use Fitbit Premium to reach your health and wellness goals, and share your data with Singapore’s Health Promotion Board.

What is the Live Healthy SG program?

Live Healthy SG is a healthy population initiative developed in collaboration with the Health Promotion Board in support of Singapore’s Smart Nation initiative, powered by Fitbit devices and Fitbit Premium.

When you participate in the Live Healthy SG program, your Fitbit data is shared with Singapore’s Health Promotion Board. You can choose to share your data anonymously or identify yourself by connecting your SingPass account with your Fitbit account. For more information, see What should I know about connecting my SingPass account to my Fitbit account?

How do I join the Live Healthy SG program?

There are 2 ways to join the Live Healthy SG program. If you’re an existing Live Healthy SG participant and want to sign up for one-on-one coaching, see How do I add coaching to my Fitbit Premium subscription?

Option 1: Join the Live Healthy SG program and receive a free or discounted Fitbit device. Choose to add coaching to your subscription.
  1. Register online at the Live Healthy SG program page
  2. When you receive an email from Fitbit to finish enrollment, tap Sign Up for the Program > Let’s Start, then follow the instructions to log in or create a Fitbit account.
  3. Tap Get Started.
  4. Read the Terms & Conditions, then tap Agree.
  5. Choose to link your Fitbit and SingPass accounts. For more information, see What should I know about connecting my SingPass account to my Fitbit account?
  6. Tap Go to Fitbit Store
  7. Tap Shop Now on a Fitbit Premium and Fitbit device bundle.
  8. After you make your purchase, tap Proceed to Fitbit App.
  9. Tap Learn More on the Healthy Population notification at the top to read more about the Live Healthy SG program.
  10. To add one-on-one coaching to your membership, go to the Live Healthy SG store, and tap Shop Now on Fitbit Premium + Coaching Membership. 
  11. Follow the on-screen instructions to complete your purchase. 
  12. When you receive your Fitbit device, set it up in the Fitbit app. For more information, see How do I set up my Fitbit device?
Note: Your Fitbit Premium subscription is created after your device ships (not when your order is placed). If you purchase Fitbit Premium + Coaching after you purchase a Fitbit Premium and Fitbit device bundle, you'll only be charged $49.98 in total.
Option 2: Register for Fitbit Premium + Coaching only.
  1. Register online at the Live Healthy SG program page. 
  2. When you receive an email from Fitbit to finish enrollment, tap Sign Up for the Program > Let’s Start, then follow the instructions to log in or create a Fitbit account.
  3. Tap Get Started.
  4. Read the Terms & Conditions, then tap Agree.
  5. Choose to link your Fitbit and SingPass accounts. For more information, see What should I know about connecting my SingPass account to my Fitbit account?
  6. Tap Go to Fitbit Store
  7. Tap Shop Now on Fitbit Premium + Coaching Membership.
  8. After you make your purchase, tap Proceed to Fitbit App.
  9. Tap Learn More on the Healthy Population notification at the top to read more about the Live Healthy SG program.

How do I add Coaching to my Fitbit Premium subscription?

If you’re already enrolled in the Live Healthy SG program, you can upgrade your membership to add one-on-one coaching. 

To upgrade:
  1. Go to the Live Healthy SG store
  2. Log in with the Fitbit account that you used to enroll in the Live Healthy SG program.
  3. Tap Shop Now on Fitbit Premium + Coaching Membership.
  4. Follow the on-screen instructions to complete your purchase.
Note that you can’t upgrade your membership in the Fitbit app.

Can I use my own Fitbit device for the Live Healthy SG program?

If you enroll in Fitbit Premium + Coaching only, you can use your own device. 

All other participants have the option to receive a free Fitbit device or to purchase a discounted one when you enroll in the Live Healthy SG program.

How do I order my Fitbit device for the Live Healthy SG program?

When you enroll in the Live Healthy SG program you’re automatically taken to fitbit.com, where you can purchase a 1-year Fitbit Premium subscription and choose your free or discounted Fitbit device. After you choose your device, you can also enroll in Fitbit Premium + Coaching. 

If you enroll in Fitbit Premium + Coaching only, you don’t need to purchase a device.

What should I know about connecting my SingPass account to my Fitbit account?

To participate in the Live Healthy SG program, you must share your Fitbit data. You can share your data anonymously, or you can connect your SingPass account to your Fitbit account and share your data with your complete profile information. 

During enrollment for Live Healthy SG, you’re asked how you want to share your data: 

  • If you want to share your complete profile information, tap Connect, and follow the instructions to login or create a SingPass account.
  • If you want your data to remain anonymous, tap Proceed without SingPass.

How do I leave the Live Healthy SG program?

  1. From your fitbit.com dashboard, click the gear iconUser-added image.
  2. Click Settings > Fitbit Health Solutions.
  3. Find Live Healthy SG Program, and click Leave > Confirm

Note the following:

  • If you leave the Live Healthy SG program before your 1-year Fitbit Premium subscription expires, you’ll still be charged every month until the year is complete.
  • If you want to join the program again, re-register at the Live Healthy SG program page.
  • If you leave the Live Healthy SG program, your data will no longer be shared with Singapore’s Health Promotion board.

How do I cancel my Fitbit Premium subscription?

Contact Customer Support to cancel your 1-year Fitbit Premium subscription. If you cancel before your subscription expires, you’ll still be charged every month until the year is complete.

How do I cancel or downgrade my Fitbit Premium + Coaching subscription?

Contact Customer Support to cancel or change your Fitbit Premium + Coaching subscription. If you cancel the 1-year Fitbit Premium subscription, you’ll still be charged every month until the year is complete.
