Make sure your Fitbit device is charged before beginning your trip. If you can’t tap out of the station gate because your Fitbit device’s battery is completely drained, see a JR East station agent to pay your fare in cash or other method. The next time you enter a station with your charged Fitbit device, ask a JR East station agent and explain that you tapped in to the ticket gate without tapping out.

If you lose or can no longer access your Fitbit device, contact Fitbit Customer Support.
