What is the Fitbit Force?

A powerful Force for everyday fitness, this sleek, high-performance wristband is with you all the time, motivating you to be more active. With real-time stats right on your wrist, you can track steps taken, distance traveled, floors climbed, active minutes, and calories burned throughout the day. When the day's over, track your sleep, learn how to sleep better, and wake with a vibrating alarm. The LED display shows you your stats on the go and wirelessly syncs them to your computer or smartphone so you can watch trends over time.

Setting goals with Force

Get motivated by setting a daily activity goal with your Fitbit Force™ and watching a progress bar throughout the day. When you reach your goal, Force will vibrate and then flash in celebration when you press the button. You can choose your goal from steps, floors, distance, or calories burned.

Sleep goals are different than regular fitness goals, and you will not receive physical tracker celebrations for meeting a sleep goal. Refer to Sleep tracking FAQs for more information.

The Force wristband is made of flexible, durable elastomer material that is comfortable enough to wear all day. It also contains one surgical-grade stainless steel clasp used to fasten the wristband. The clasp contains nickel.

Water resistance

The Force is water resistant and rain-, splash-, and sweat-proof. Force should not be worn while swimming or showering. If you want credit for your swimming activity and calories burned, we recommend logging the activity on the Activities page of your dashboard.
