Using the new Fitbit.com dashboard

The new Dashboard provides the Fitbit community with an improved user experience to better support unique goals and information needs.

Graph features have been optimized to no longer require Flash, providing a richer experience should you choose to view your Dashboard from your phone.

What are tiles?

The Dashboard features tiles of information that can be personalized by you. You can add, delete, and rearrange tiles of information to best suit your needs. Available tiles include an Intraday Activity graph, Sleep, Calories Burned, Food Plan, Calories In vs. Out, Distance, Friends, Floors, Weight, Steps, and Very Active Minutes.

How to Add tiles

Your Dashboard comes pre-loaded with tiles based on the products you have linked to your Fitbit.com profile. You can add additional tiles to configure see even more information.

  1. Click the tab icon on the left side of the Dashboard
  2. Click the check-box next to the tile you'd like to add
  3. Click Done once you've selected the tiles

How to remove tiles

You can easily remove tiles on the tile's settings page. Removing tiles places them back in the drawer. They can always be re-added by following the steps above to add tiles.

  1. Hover your mouse cursor over the tile you'd like to remove
  2. Click the gear icon on the tile
  3. Click Remove Tile
  4. Confirm by clicking Remove Tile once again

How to rearrange tiles

Rearranging your tiles to better fit your preference is as easy as click & drag.

  1. Click and hold on the tile you'd like to rearrange
  2. Drag it around the Dashboard and let go of your mouse button when you've found the right spot
Note: If the tile you want to remove does not have a gear icon, it may be because that feature is not set up. You may have to set up that particular feature (e.g. Food Plan) in order to gain access to the gear icon and remove the tile.

Edit your daily goals

Your individually tracked goals (e.g. Steps, Calories Burned, Distance) can be edited using the appropriate tile.

  1. Hover your mouse cursor over the tile you'd like to remove
  2. Click the gear icon on the tile
  3. Follow the instructions on the tile to edit your goal
  4. Click Save

Getting more detail

You can see more detail about your stats by hovering your mouse cursor over the tile and clicking the magnifying glass. This will create a pop-up window with more detail about your stats over time.

Logging food, activities, etc.

If you want to go to the Log page for a tile, hover your mouse cursor over the tile and click the arrow.
