Black and slate wristbands are available in small or large. The small fits a wrist between 5.5 and 6.9 inches in circumference (or 140 - 176 mm). The large fits a wrist between 6.3 and 8.2 inches in circumference (or 161 - 209 mm). You can measure your wrist using our downloadable sizing tool. All colors and sizes may not be available at all locations so check with your local authorized retailer.
What does Force track?
With Force you can track steps taken, distance traveled, floors climbed, active minutes, calories burned, and how long and how well you sleep. In addition to tracking your stats, Force also features a clock and silent alarm.
Can I wear my Force as a watch?
In addition to tracking your fitness, Force can serve as a sleek time piece. Press the button to see the time in one of three formats that you choose.
Can I wear my Force swimming?
Your Force is rain, splash, and sweat-proof but should be removed before swimming or showering.
Can I use my Force for cycling or other non-step-based activities?
Though Force is most accurate for step-based activities like walking and running, you can receive credit and estimated caloric burn for any activity you log on your dashboard. You can also use the activity mode feature on your Force. Similar to the trip mode on a car's odometer, activity mode lets you bring greater visibility to a specified time frame regardless of activity.

How does Force track my sleep?
The motion sensor on your Force analyzes your movement patterns to determine whether you're asleep, restless, or awake. We use this data to calculate your sleep efficiency.
What is a silent alarm?
The silent alarm uses vibration to gently awake or alert you at the time specified. You can set up to eight silent alarms.
How does Force track my steps?
Fitbit trackers use a 3-axis accelerometer to understand your motions. By analyzing acceleration data, our trackers provide detailed information about frequency, duration, intensity, and patterns of movement to determine your steps taken, distance traveled, calories burned, and sleep quality.
How does Force track my floors?
To count Floors your Force uses an altimeter, which is sensor that calculates altitude based on atmospheric pressure. Force registers a floor when it detects continuous motion combined with an elevation gain of about 10 feet.
How does my data get from Force to the website?
Your Force will automatically sync every 15 minutes whenever it is within range of a compatible mobile device or the wireless sync dongle plugged into your computer.
How long does the battery last?
On a full charge the battery lasts 7 to 10 days. When it's time to recharge your Force will show a low battery, and you can also choose to be notified via mobile device or email.
Can I share my Fitbit data through Twitter and Facebook?
Fitbit can share your daily or weekly averages to Twitter and Facebook. You can also connect with Facebook friends on Fitbit to share data and compete against one another.
