How do I use the Ultra to monitor my sleep?

Track your sleep using the Fitbit Ultra by following the steps below. For common questions about sleep tracking, see our About sleep tracking article.

  1. Place your tracker inside of the slot in the wristband that came with your Fitbit. The wristband should be worn on your non-dominant hand.
  2. When you're ready to go to sleep, press and hold your tracker's button for 2-3 seconds. You will see a flashing stopwatch icon and counting numbers. This indicates that you are in sleep mode.
  3. When you wake up, remove your tracker from your wristband and hold down its button for 2-3 seconds until the icons stop flashing. You can wear your tracker as usual after that.
  4. Sync your tracker to your Fitbit account to see information about your sleep quality your sleep log.
