What has changed in the latest tracker update?

The following sections detail some of the updates and changes provided in these tracker updates:

Fitbit Flex

Version 64 - Released July 5, 2013

  • Faster device boot time after restart.

  • Fix to play alarm notes properly (previously, if tracker went inactive, notes blurred together).

Version 62 - Released June 5, 2013

  • Charging status is continuously displayed while in the charger. Five blinking LEDs indicates 100% charge.

  • Improved battery life.

  • Added full support for goals.

  • Alarms are automatically acknowledged if you walk 50 steps before the snooze expires.

Fitbit One

Version 60 - Released Sept 26, 2013

  • Battery life extended to two weeks.

  • Real-time mobile data sync enabled.

  • Snoozed alarm turns off after 50 steps.

  • A button press any time during the 9 minutes when an alarm is snoozing no longer cancels the alarm. The alarm is only canceled when the motor is vibrating.

Version 46 - Released Nov 19, 2012

  • Fixes an issue with distance being recorded incorrectly when the Fitbit One is in activity mode.

  • Fixes an issue with the Fitbit One not resetting correctly after the Daylight Savings change.

  • Decreases the sync time for iOS users.

Version 38 - Released Oct 20, 2012

  • Implements silent alarms

Fitbit Zip

Version 86 - Released Sept 10, 2013

  • Battery life increased from 4-6 months to 6 months.

Version 72 - Released Sept 21, 2012

  • Improved accuracy for Zip battery life readings.
