About Fitbit Coach

Fitbit Coach shut down on July 30, 2021. Fitbit Coach workout content is now available in the Fitbit app, allowing you to use one app going forward. Access a variety of workouts and a range of additional features with a Fitbit Premium membership in the Fitbit app.

Fitbit Coach is now part of Fitbit Premium. With a Fitbit Premium membership, you’ll have more choices for working out, as well as additional features like personalized, actionable guidance and deeper insights about your health - and, the added convenience of being able to access all of this content in one app alongside your Fitbit data. On July 30, 2021 we shut down the Coach app and Coach website, and removed the Coach app on Fitbit watches.

If you’re currently paying for Coach, here’s what you can expect:

  • Annual members— you received a prorated refund of the remainder of your membership
  • Monthly members— you won’t incur any further monthly membership charges

Fitbit Premium works with or without a Fitbit device and includes:

  • 200+ audio and video workouts from Fitbit and leading fitness brands, such as Aaptiv, Daily Burn, obé, Physique 57, and POPSUGAR
  • 150+ meditations to calm your mind day or night, including sessions from Deepak Chopra, Ten Percent Happier, and Breethe
  • 60+ pieces of nutrition content from Fitbit and EatingWell magazine to get quick inspiration for healthy meals with curated recipes to help you balance all aspects of your wellness journey
  • By using a Fitbit device with Premium, you’ll also get advanced insights and personalized, actionable guidance in the Fitbit app to help you achieve your health and fitness goals

The FitStar Yoga app shut down on July 30, 2021. You can find yoga workouts and more within the Fitbit app as part of the Premium membership experience. If you use FitStar Yoga and you’re not already a Fitbit Premium member, visit the Premium page on fitbit.com to learn more and see if you’re eligible to start a trial.
